A hop, skip and jump away from picking up some Chik-fil-a for lunch. The idea was to bring it to Kelc while she was on a lunch break, but I goofed up the timing on that one so it really was just at the end of the shift.
Post-lunch, Kelc and I left for the lakehouse to help fix up a few things. The jet ski was non operational because the previous users thought it would be a good idea to ride over the tow rope. Pretty much and instant-stall for that engine. It winds around a crankshaft that goes to the propeller, and just winds up and wedges itself against the casing. Also put on a couple of make-shift handles and cleaned up everything a bit.
Then went for a dip. Water is warm on the top, cold on the bottom. The lake is also getting pretty low. The "wall" that we build a long time ago is many feet out of the water. The sandy part of the shoreline is already visible. If it is only the beginning of summer I feel like the lake is going to get pretty small. Maybe some new abandoned cars will show up.
Left for home. Crossed paths with Ryan for a quick chat. I haven't seen him in a while since he's busy working and gaming all the time.
Met up with Ray and Marisa at Kerbey Lane later. Had to get the Kerbey Queso. I need to go on a trip to BCS soon; been way too long. We weren't able to stay out too late because Kelc had to work in the morning.
