2011.01.28 Friday

I woke up in the middle of the night having to urinate, because I decided to chug a whole cup down right before bed. I went back to sleep and experienced some awesome dreaming this way. I shall consider doing this more often.

Work was alright, but something felt a bit off. Nothing really seemed like it was going to resolve into anything. Meetings were cancelled, computers were crashing. And whats this... *gasp* there are lots of people out sick with the flu? *double gasp* Habs is out sick with (probably) the flu?! I need to get out of this place.

Post-work, I had to repack my gear and reconsidered if some things were worth the added weight and space. Grabbed some chik-fil-a for an easy dinner.

Played Left 4 Dead 2 a bunch, and probably stayed up later than I should have. It really didn't feel like a Friday night at all though...

2011.01.27 Thursday

I'm starting to get restless about waiting for vacation to start. I have lots of little things to still do to prepare, and I get to sit at work all day just thinking about it. Frustration.

Work was normal. I'm thinking about omitting saying this some days, but I don't want to be confused if I ever read this stuff in the future what I did most of the day. Mentioning "work" makes it understandable that half the day is effectively gone.

My sister stopped by to exchange gear with me. We chatted up for a while, and Justin joined in since they work at the same place. Their workplace sounds completely different, and it's understandable why it's one of the top rated for employees.

Started up laundry and packing, ran some errands, finished laundry and more packing.

Then Lindsey and Jon stopped by. They were on their way north from McAllen. We had an interesting discussion about women going through postpartum depression... ya know after having a baby inside you for months... then suddenly not. Well add to that some hormones fluctuating, and all kinds of things changing in the body, and sometimes the mind is affected. That conversation then shifted into thinking about how slight changes in chemical balances can completely alter the way people think and react. Just thinking about it is pretty scary. In a sense, we are all on the verge of being insane. And in some ways, we are insane.

Bed time.

2011.01.26 Wednesday

Already hump day? Breaking a five-day week down to four makes it seem much less intimidating. But was it worth the pain and suffering? I'm going to have to go with a big "No" on this one.

Work's lunch today started off with a "break". I also didn't have much of an appetite so I just got a weak salad. They also serve free popcorn and show movies on Wednesday, although I can't remember ever watching anything they've shown. It all started with Twilight and bootlegged copies of various films, so I was turned off of that from the get-go.

Post work activities included organizing some gear for vacation, Minecrafting, and Left 4 Dead 2 with my new mouse. It's going to take some time before I can utilize the extra buttons on this MX518. With the Minecrafting, I finished up an extremely long (and fairly wide) land bridge that connects two portals. It takes almost the entire day (in-game) to walk the length of it. I also found a new mine, then accidentally acquired a music disc. Score!

I stayed up too late playing L4D2.

2011.01.25 Tuesday

Back to work. Was I ready for it? Kind of. I still feel like I need to be careful about my eating, and a bit on the weak side. Oddly enough, I feel mentally refreshed by all the purging. I feel like I have a more clear head, and able to multitask a bit better. My only guess is that is had something to do with running on adrenaline.

Well, today started the second class in my Software Systems Graduate Certificate program. This semester will be Object-Oriented Methodology. Objects in programming have never been that great for me. I feel like I understand completely what is being taught, but never see the application of what is being described. I also like to know how things work (I watch How It's Made, How Stuff Works, and Mythbusters all the time), and bringing objects into programming is for the purpose of NOT knowing how something works. The professor said during lecture that a typical programmer can "memorize" between five thousand and ten thousand lines of code, otherwise things start getting lost. Objects help group things into logical chunks so you can just get the functionality you need from the code without having to dig down. We'll see how this turns out... Oh and just a couple days after being sick from pizza/pudding, I'm already eating pizza.

Back at home I didn't really do much. Played a little Minecraft and Left 4 Dead 2. I have no concrete proof, but I'm fairly certain that we were playing against a team that had a cheater or two. Funny that games have evolved so much, and cheating hasn't been dissolved.

Snooze.

2011.01.24 Monday

Yep, definitely not going to work today. Just not going to happen. I went to "sleep" around 3:30a, woke up around 6:45a as if my body was ready for work. Of course I was not going in to work today. I could barely stand up without feeling like I was going to pass out. I had a fever of 100.2F and felt like I was dry heaving from both ends.

I tried to catch up on sleep, and drink water. Nothing was comfortable. I tried distracting myself with more Arrested Development and Minecraft. The day seemed to drag on and on.

Later on in the day Kelc stopped by. Two sick people, fun. We napped. She has a free trial of Netflix, and just recently got Psycho in the mail. Not American Psycho, just regular 1960s Hitchcock Psycho. It was interesting. Crazy to see how much has changed in the movie industry, but I'm still of the belief that a small budget and creativity can still make a decent movie.

Had a hard time sleeping again.

2011.01.23 Sunday

Woke up and hung out with some friends. These friends tend to leave super early in the morning leaving me to wake up to an empty house, so this was a new experience. We chatted, watched some NHL, and some of the Packers - Bears game.

Kelc and I cooked up a pizza for lunch, then took a nap during the second half of the football game. Woke up, finished up our business and headed to her (regular) house.

There, we got set up to watch the Steelers - Jets game and eat Rudy's BBQ. The game turned out in the Steeler's favor. Then something went askew, not with the game, but with Kelc and myself. We both felt pretty terrible. That's went Kelc started making frequent trips to the bathroom to purge the badness from herself. I felt like crap, but wasn't purging anything so I went home.

By the time I arrived at home, I could tell a storm was coming. I couldn't sleep, but was tired. I ended up distracting myself with Arrested Development, TV and Minecraft until the contents of my stomach were involuntarily purged. I was up way too late in the night taking care of myself and feeling like garbage.

This week is off to a great start.

2011.01.22 Saturday

Today Hasbrobi coordinated an event of Disc Golf, or Frisbee Golf, or Frolf. So we stopped by Disc zone, a shop in Austin that specializes in disc golf gear. Then we went out to Mary Moore Searight Park.

During the 18 holes, I found out two things: One, the driver discs require someone to have a reasonably good form and strength. And Two, I can tomahawk throw more consistently and further than a regular "backhand" throw. I'm going to need to practice some more.

For a late lunch, we stopped by P. Terry's near Barton Springs rd. Delicious.

I met up with Kelc and Lindsey and Jon at Kelc's house. From there we stopped by the grocery store and Sonic for food, then headed out to the lakehouse.

It didn't take long for guests to show up. We played games, mostly in the dark. Coleman started freaking out that his WoW account was being hacked, which then led him to believe his email and bank account had been hacked. I felt the situation was rather comical, but also alarming.

Not long after, I passed out.

2011.01.21 Friday

Slept in really well today. No real concrete plans for the day. Kelc and I left to Ross, Toys R Us, Maurice's, and TJ Max.

Lunch was a trip to Applebee's, just like old times... but with a new spin. This time we split an appetizer and the entrée, instead of two separate entrées. Our waitress was not really that attentive and just came back with the check without asking for dessert... I was hoping to get a maple butter blondie.

Back to my place to chill out and relax. We put in the ingredients for a loaf of bread in the bread maker. Then I played some Left 4 Dead 2, and Minecraft.

Later on Habs Tay Kelc and I went to Highland Lanes for some bowling. It didn't feel like we were there for that long, but after we came home everybody was ready to pass out.

2011.01.20 Thursday

Last day of the work week. What shall I do with it?

After work, Kelc and I met up with her mom at La Madeline. Kelc took a bite from my pasta salad and had a nice chunk of metal in it. Sweet right? Well the manager refunded the whole price of the meal. Cool... I guess. Dying is worth an 7 dollar refund.

During dinner, Kelc acquired "the key" so that we could get a Netflix movie out of the mailbox. The plan is to watch the movie : Reservation Road.

I made some bacon salted popcorn, pulled some pistachios, Kelc got the drinks and we set the lighting... all ready for an enjoyable movie experience. The only problem: the movie was only mediocre. I'd have to say the story wasn't that great, and sometimes the acting was a little off. But most of the time, the acting was really good, it's just the lack of strength in the story really made things less fun.

Sleep.

2011.01.19 Wednesday

Blah. Just not really feeling that energetic these days.

After work, I went for a run. This time, 2 dogs and a Habibi joined me. The pace was all over the place.

Dinner consisted of leftovers, and soup. Pasta, taco meat, potatoes, and minestrone soup.

Later on Kelc and I went to HEB since I was in need of groceries. Unfortunately, the produce section was being cleaned up, so I couldn't get most of the stuff I wanted. Guess I'll have to come back another day.

Watched mythbusters, then bed time.

2011.01.18 Tuesday

Today just felt slow in general. Pretty tired most of the day too, because I stayed up late watching Sunshine. I shouldn't really blame the movie though, because I didn't even feel sleepy.

After work today, I had the option of going for a run. I also had the option of NOT going on a run today. I did the latter. So why didn't I run? Partially because my body feels drained, but also my muscles need recovery time. I ran with a different pair of shoes, and my lower legs are sore. Who knew that shoes can have an impact on the way your body moves.

I vacuumed some. Getting tired of pulling long brown hairs from my feet in the morning. Also played some Minecraft. I found a couple utilities; one is for backing up your "worlds" to a compressed file, and the other makes a bird's-eye view of your world. I'll have to post a few pictures to share with the world.

I made some taco meat and pasta for dinner. Protein and carbs.

Kelc came over, we watched a little bit of TV, but fell asleep somewhat early.

2011.01.17 Monday

I should really stop snoozing my alarm. I awoke just fine to my first alarm (the radio on low volume), but then decided to snooze for no reason. I then proceeded to snooze two more times to a loud beeping, waking up progressively more tired each time.

Standard work day, come and gone.

Once home, I took a few minutes contemplating whether I should go for a run or not. The weather seemed rather nice and you could actually see kids outside playing. Guess I'll do it. Tossed some laundry in the washer, tied my shoes and hit the streets. I checked my pulse near the end of the run, and I was beating about 150 bpm. That's good, I think. I was actually able to run for over a mile without stopping. I don't think I could even do that in gym class when I was in school. I've never been a good long-distance runner.

Back inside, I started preparing dinner. Tonight: macaroni with a garlic and herbs marinara sauce, with shells and cheese leftovers.

Took care of the dishes, took down some xmas lights, and started playing Left4Dead2. My FPS skills seem to be getting slightly better, but I still shoot my teammates by accident. I mean, what do you expect if you run in front of my crosshairs?

Kelc came over, we finished watching Sunshine. She didn't care for it. I thought the first half of the movie was impressive, and then it slowly went downhill from there.

2011.01.16 Sunday

Woke up late. That felt nice.

Not too long after waking up, I had one of those realization moments (the kind where your internal voice lets out a long "fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu"). Justin had a show last night that I could have gone to, and I was feeling pretty bored at the end of the day so it would have been nice to get out. Completely slipped my mind that it was happening. I'll have to remember for next time.

Packed up a few things and headed out for dinner with the parents and family. I had to make a pit stop at HEB for some extra food items. HEB Plus at 620 and Anderson Mill Rd gets terribly congested in the middle of the day, and is completely empty by evening time. I actually had to park as far away from the store as possible while other people waited for people at their cars for the 'good spots'. I also don't like how the added light on 620 impedes traffic (not that this is anything new). The only forgiving trait was that the express lanes were actually short, meaning people understand that they shouldn't bring a ton of groceries through the express lanes.

Lunch consisted of a garden salad with shredded carrots, bow-tie pasta tossed with pesto sauce and red pepper chicken, green beans seasoned with bacon drippings, garlic and basil bread, pita chips with four pepper hummus, and a 2009 bottle of Casillero del Diablo cabernet sauvignon. For dessert, clementines (nature's candy). It's fun being able to contribute to a meal, and feast with friends and family. My brother actually brought his girlfriend over to meet with the family. It was interesting to finally meet her after knowing about her over a year.

We played some Xbox360 Kinect, then New Super Mario Bros Wii. And watched the Patriots lose to the Jets. I don't know what it is about the Patriots, but they just are not one of my favorite teams.

Eventually made my way home. Kelc and I started the movie Sunshine. I thought the movie was going to be completely ridiculous and laughable, but I SO SILLY. We only made it about 30 minutes into the movie and I was very surprised with the presentation thus far. Kelc fell asleep, so I thought it better to save the rest for later.

I played some Minecraft. Tee Hee. Lately, Ive been working on doing quite a bit of terra-forming. Right now, most of my work is focused on my 4th base. I have a huge farm of trees set up, a rather large above-and-below ground 'temple' that has a mob-grinder feeding in some resources, and a sky-scraping tower to monitor my plot of land. With the latest additions, I'm finding some of them to be useful since it wastes some of the rare resources on pointless objects. Although the music box sounds like fun.. I haven't tried it out yet.

Late into the night, the movie Remember The Daze came on Showtime. I'm pretty sure the title is paying homage to Dazed and Confused, and is trying to be an updated-for-the-new-kids remake of a movie. The movie made me giggle so much. It's so ridiculous.

2011.01.15 Saturday

Today I slept in a good amount. Felt REAL GOOD.

Most recently I've started utilitizing the Google Calendar feature of Tasks Lists. I'm starting to find that it is rather useful for me. I come up with good ideas at work for things to do at home, and good ideas for work at home. The only thing I don't like is how simplistic the interface is. It might be better to has a separate page/interface for tasks, but still integrates well with the Calendar. Just a thought though.

I spent most of the day cleaning out junk from my room, and organizing things more logically. I have tons of paper stuff that has piled up over the past few years. I'm probably going to need a real filing cabinet soon (which I think is almost insane since everything is electronic these days).

Made some pasta and cheese for lunch. Back to cleaning.

At some point during the day, the roommates decided it was a good time for some Left4Dead2. We played a tough campaign, and couldn't quite make it all the way to the end. It was still lots of fun.

For dinner, and the Ravens/Steelers game, I split a Mr. Gattis pepperoni jalapeno pizza. Yum.

Later on into the evening, in the midst of cleaning, I decided it was time to tackle one of the items on my google task list: gutting a microwave. So what all does a microwave consist of? Well, it's actually very simple, but the parts themselves are expensive. Here is a list of major components:
- Circuit board to control relays, timing, provide button interfaces (the brains)
- motor to turn the dish
- lamp to light the inside
- input power filter (providing cleaner 60Hz and 120VAC)
- Fan that runs on AC, to cool the electronic components
- magnetron (emits microwave radiation, shaking water molecules violently)
- heavy duty transformer, converting 120VAC to something like 2kVAC

The last two items in that list are probably the most expensive part of the microwave. The primary piece that I wanted was that transformer. Once I removed it, the microwave weighed about half as much as it used to. That's a lot of metal and wire wound up in a transformer. The magnetron had some cool shielding on it, I'm sure it's slightly dangerous to power that up without knowing what will happen... so I decided it best to just leave that in the microwave. I did decide to take the fan and circuit board for fun though. While I was digging around, I figured out why the microwave stopped working in the first place: the fuse on the power filter circuitry was busted. That either means something failed inside the microwave, causing a sustained surge of current, or somebody put the wrong stuff in the microwave and caused internal arcing, or just ran the microwave for way too long without decent ventilation.

Finished up enough for today.

2011.01.14 Friday

Another sleepy morning. Actually pushed snooze a few too many times.

The work week wrapped up nicely. Not really much to say about it.

After work, I had friends trying to contact me, but instead I ate an early dinner with Kelc. She had to leave to be ready for an early flight out. I fell asleep shortly after. The lack of quality sleep caught up with me.

2011.01.13 Thursday

Super groggy this morning. I don't understand why my level of grogginess is variable when my schedule and habits stay relatively the same.

Today at work, I did not consume as many clementines as the previous day. However, the thought of the fruit encouraged me to try cooking with them.

For dinner, I cleaned up some chicken breast and put them in a marinade of oil, garlic, salt, pepper, juice of 1 clementine, and a touch of lemon juice. Let that sit for a few hours. I played some Left 4 Dead 2 while the chicken was marinating. Prepared some asparagus by cutting "french style", also adding a little oil, salt and pepper; that cooked on a wide pan with a lid to keep the moisture in. I had some leftover mashed potatoes from Tuesday, just had to microwave that. I also read online that it is possible to create clementine sauce, so I put together the juice of 2 clementines, about 1/4 cup of sugar, and 2 tbsp of corn syrup in a small pot and brought that to a boil; during the cooling process I mixed in small amounts of water to make sure the sugars don't crystalized, but instead make a syrup. The resulting glaze tasted delicious on the chicken and asparagus... but also seemed like it was missing something. If I had it available, I would have added some white wine instead of water at the end, to give a real tangy punch to the flavor. I pan-grilled the chicken. One thing that helped a lot was beating the meat, thinning it out for even cooking.

Overall a pretty darn good meal.

Played some Doom, little bit of TV, then bed.

2011.01.12 Wednesday

I can't wait to go on vacation already, even though we just had Christmas/New Years. I've felt so drained lately, just no energy left to do anything. Maybe it's because of this cold and gloomy weather.

At work I ate a ton of clementines. Ok so not a literal ton, but nine. For lunch I had a salad. Sounds somewhat healthy?

Kelc cooked up dinner tonight. Spinach Lasagna Rolls on a beef tomato sauce, a side of chopped green beans, and french bread. Very nice presentation. The first roll I ate had a weird chewy part, but I still ended up eating 3. Dessert was Blue Bell Ice Cream (the best kind of ice cream is Blue Bell). I added a clementine to my bowl of ice cream.

We made a run out to Target to pick up random things and walk around. I found some hand warmers that should work rather nicely for the upcoming ski trip.

On my way home, I saw probably 6 police cars. Seemed like nobody was really out on the road, so I don't know what is going on. Maybe they were bored, or doing training. Actually, I trailed behind one that was going into my neighborhood area, so I'm assuming they are just checking out various areas. Anyways, once I arrived at home I rather quickly found myself falling asleep.

2011.01.11 Tuesday

Super groggy this morning. The lack of energy lasted pretty well through most of the work day.

After work I packed up some food items and went over to Kelc's to cook up some dinner. We had reheated pot roast on macaroni with some mashed potatoes and pistachios. Filling.

The first episode of the new season of Tosh.O came on. The show seems a bit toned down in my opinion, but still funny.

Quick stop at HEB Plus on the way home for some fruits. Played a round of Left 4 Dead 2 to show Kelc, then not too long before it was bedtime.

Monday, January 10, 2011

2011.01.10 Monday

Oh no, not a full 5-day work week. Womp.

Work went by somewhat quickly. After work I received a text message from Kelc saying that she is preparing dinner. This had me both excited and scared.

For dinner, we had beef fajitas, tortillas, stir fried peppers and onions, creamy guacamole with chips, and some toppings. Overall a good meal. This meal actually fed 5 people quite well.

During dinner was the BCS National Championship Game. Auburn vs Oregon. It really seemed like Oregon just couldn't get any momentum with their offensive, and their notorious 'explosiveness' was limited. There were some questionable calls that I'm sure will leave people with a sour taste in their mouths for months. This type of drama comes with a title as prestigious as it is. If I recall correctly, when UT won the Rose Bowl against USC, Vince Young performed a pass after his knee was already on the ground. So much stress about getting that W.

Home, sleep.

2011.01.09 Sunday

Woke up, packed up. Matt and Channing had to get home earlier to make it to work on time. I stuck around for a bit longer since I wasn't needed at home until evening.

Watched some more exploitation films, played some games, then headed home. The drive went by a little quickly since I listened to my favorite Trance album. The weather was gloomy the whole way, but luckily not raining.

Later on in the evening, I went to pick up Justin from the airport. We got caught up on the craziness that was our weekends. Finished the day by wrapping up the movie 21 Grams with Kelc.

2011.01.08 Saturday

Woke up later than expected, took a shower and got myself packed up... then off to BCS.

The day with the guys started off with grilling. Today's choice of meats: Kangaroo and chicken drumsticks. For appetizers: wines, cheeses, crackers, guacamole, verde salsa and pistachios. The kangaroo came off the grill perfectly, the chicken still needed some time to cook. Oh well, everything was still delicious.

For the evening the group decided to go out to a movie, Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan. Actually, my second time to see the movie. So not only is it uncommon for me to watch a movie more than once, but to see something in the theaters more than once is extremely rare. The last time I remember that happening was Batman Begins, and that's when I worked at a movie theater. On the plus side, it cost a whopping $4 for the ticket. Why is it so expensive everywhere else?

Back at the house, we played games and continued our celebrations. To cap off the night we started watching some exploitation films. We watched The Black Candles and Police Women. Very... Interesting...

2011.01.07 Friday

Just as suspected, my thumb was sore, swollen, and achy when I woke this morning. I also had some crazy dreams going on. I went back in time to when I was a kid and fixed things that went wrong, and it changed the future. I think I watched too much Back To The Future.

I started up a slow-cooker dish in the morning. Beef pot roast, with celery, carrots, potatoes and onions. It's totally making the downstairs area smell amazing.

Today, I was originally planning on going to the skatepark for some fun time, but I ended up being more lazy and whining about my thumb. I played some more Minecraft, and also played some Left 4 Dead 2. That game will easily take hours away from your free time.

I spent the evening chowing down on pot roast and watching 2001 A Space Odyssey and Tron. 2001 is a decent movie, but it's really drawn out. I feel like that detracts from the movie experience, and doesn't make it feel any more artsy. After reading more into the movie, I think I like the concepts and questions it brings up. It definitely doesn't have much replay value. Tron, now there is an interesting movie. It's always funny seeing how the writers fit the techno-babble into the dialogue of the movie. I had seen some small clips of the movie before, but not the entire movie. It's just like I remembered, a pretty shallow story wrapped in (what used to be) awesome special effects. Definitely in contrast to the earlier movie.

Ate more pot roast, then food coma (sleep).

2011.01.06 Thursday

More groggy today. Goody. Takes time to get back into the work routine.

Around lunch time today, a group of guys at work got together to play some football. We did some weird rotations because one guy had an injured back. I did a real good job of jamming my thumb; pretty sure I'll be feeling that for a while.

After work, didn't really do much. Kelc was already on her way to Pittsburgh. I cleaned up my room and took the frame out from under my bed. I like a low-rider.

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

2011.01.05 Wednesday

Already hump day, and a very short week. I like this.

Went for a run after work. This time is was a little easier to push myself further, but I'm pretty sure my heart rate is doing a roller coaster shape. I can't find a pace that is comfortable and where I still get enough oxygen.

Ate leftovers for dinner, and tried to get a balance of food that seems somewhat healthy.

Kelc came over and assisted me in shopping at HEB for some groceries. I tried to stick to the produce area as long as possible. I'm hoping to shift towards fresher foods this new year. It's one of my "new years resolutions". I did a pretty good job last year of reducing my trips to HEB to roughly once a month to stock up, and the occasional trip for specialty items. With this shift towards fresher foods (and more fruits and veggies), I foresee my trips to HEB becoming more frequent, so I'm not sure how long this will last. Maybe I should invest in some good tupperware...

Kelc and I ended the evening watching 21 Grams. Got about 60% through the movie, and I called it a night.

Tuesday, January 4, 2011

2011.01.04 Tuesday

First day of work in the new year.

For breakfast, granola and yogurt.
For lunch, roast beef, potatoes and corn.
For dinner, tortelini and hummus.

After work I went for a run. Yeah, can't say that I'm big on running, but I did it. Since it was the first time in a very long time I was not able to run very far. Afterwards, I made sure to stretch out my muscles. That's another thing I feel like I don't do enough: stretching. It's supposed to be important, but is it?

Post-workout, I ate a clementine and watched Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. It's an animated experience to Daft Punk's Discovery album. I have actually seen the first 3 chunks of the video through the first 3 music videos, courtesy of Austin Music Network's morning show. (AMN hasn't been around for years, I watched it in high school, and is how I first got into Daft Punk. Really miss that network.) It's an interesting "movie", and you can see a tiny bit of depth to the story, but it's really just a fun colorful video to watch while enjoying the album. There are a few secrets/hidden jems in the video that Daft Punk fans may notice. It's worth a watch, being barely over an hour long.

Later in the evening, took care of some life stuff, then worked on a music project that I let drop for the past few months. I have some fresh ideas, just need to execute.

2011.01.03 Monday

I was hoping to wake up early today, to help me get adjusted for the soon-approaching work schedule, but I still slept in till 10am (although technically I only slept for 8 hours).

Goal for today, clean up my car. It looks like the grease they lathered on my new tires for installation has been flung onto my doors and other panels, so I really need to get the caked dirt and grease off. Kelc helped, the mats were washed, car washed, clay barred, waxed, rain-xed, and interior vacuumed. Takes a long time, but the extra effort really shines.

Dropped Kelc off at her house and hooked up some speakers to her TV. Hopefully that sounds a bit better for movies.

For dinner, Kelc and I met up with Amanda and Josh at Reale's. It's been a while since I had been there. I need to get the Krew back here for a dinner. The food and service seemed lower than normal, but I think we were one of three tables seated this evening. Looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays.

Kelc and I watched Hackers before slumber. That movie made me face-palm so much.

2011.01.02 Sunday

Woke up and went to Fowler's for the last Sunday of the NFL season. Steelers played the Browns, and had no problem with that.

Went over to Kelc's house around half-time, and CBS decided to switch over to another game. RUDE. It's ok though, because the greasy unhealthy food I ate influenced me to take a nice nap.

We played some games, had pizza, and watched Planet Earth on blu-ray.

Then Kelc and I went back to my home. There we watched the ending of SNF, then watched The Shawshank Redemption.

Saturday, January 1, 2011

2011.01.01 Saturday

Cool, get to start off the new year with a Saturday. Me likey.

Left the lakehouse after cleaning up some.

Home, watched Mythbusters, played Minecraft and watched Dodgeball.

Dinner, played games with the Fraser family at Rudy's BBQ.

Went home, watched Garden State.
